As a Dover native, it’s amazing to watch how life has changed and evolved here in the capital of the first state. When I was a young man and through my formative years, my mother managed a daycare here in Dover. Through her involvement in childcare, I was able to see the impact that programs such as daycares & preschools have on young children. Quality programs provide guidance and nurturing while also allowing parents the opportunity to grow in their professional careers in order to provide for their children’s futures. I plan on dancing to support ‘Mom’s House of Dover’ and ‘Boys & Girls Club’. Two great causes which support parents and nurture children and youth as they develop skills and scruples to become outstanding adults. My goal is to raise $15,000 for Mom’s House of Dover & Boys & Girls Club of Delaware.

I am thrilled to be part of Dancing with the Delaware Stars for the third year in a row! I am an Air Force veteran working as the Administrative and Financial resource Manager for the 3rd Airlift Squadron at Dover Air Force Base for the past 14 years. I love my job serving with 144 men and women who travel the world with the C-17 Globemaster delivering supplies and equipment to those in need. I am also the base’s Equal Oppor-tunity Counselor, so I am first point of contact dealing with federal employees to raise allegations or concerns of discrimination. Additionally, I am a Firness Instructor for the YMCA and Club Fitness teaching several different formats of Zumba and Les Mills BodyCombat. I also hold a Bachelors in Psychology, a Masters in Human Resources; Executive Leadership and a Masters in Business.
My hobbies are simple, I LOVE collecting experiences! I feel (and can speak from experience) we often sell ourselves short and make excuses in life as to why we cannot accomplish something. However, when we “peel the onion layers back” those excuses are often our own fears and inse-curities…essentially it’s just us, holding our own selves back from what we want to accomplish. Letting go of that fear has allowed me to be a part of numerous experiences that I never thought I would do. In fact, my most recent experience just happened 3 weeks ago when I ran a 5K, 10K , half marathon and full marathon (48.6 total) in four days in Walt Disney World.
I would not be who I am without the love and support of several people along the way. First, I thank God for the many blessings He has given me. Thank you to my loving husband of 18 years, James...he is my rock and my strength and has always supported me in everything I have wanted to do. My two kiddos, Madelynne and Deacon, thanks for putting up with my practice schedule. Terri, thanks for giving me the opportunity to be part of this great event once again., you are an amazing woman. Also a shout out to all our “fans” and those who voted and supported us over these past few months.

I am a Managing Partner & Lead Buyer Specialist for The Hohrein Group, a Real Estate Team powered by Keller Williams Realty, Central Delaware. This means I work in a close relationship with Ron & Sandy Hohrein (Partners & Parents) in building a national brand while helping home buyers realize their Real Estate goals and dreams.
In my free time, I enjoy giving back to my community. I am an active member of the HOA Board for my neighborhood. I was elected to the position of Vice-Chair in the 31st District of Delaware (Downtown Dover Proper). And I am a National Committeeman.
I am an enthusiastic Do It Yourself-er in a variety of pursuits: home improvement, personal vehicle repair, and custom computer, bicycle, and motorcycle construction. I thoroughly believe that by understanding how something works, you increase it’s value, as well as your own.
Presently, I live in West Dover with my best friend and wife, Jaimie, and our two ridiculous dogs, Rusty the Schnauzer & Delta the Pug.
